Phenolic profile and antioxidant, anticholinesterase and anti- candida potential evaluation in vitro and in silico studies of Tapirira guianensis Aubl. extracts

Polar extracts of Tapirira guianensis Aubl. were prepared for evaluation biological activities. Identification and quantification phenolic compounds, antioxidant activity, inhibition acetylcholinesterase enzyme antifungal potential performed in all extracts. High contents total phenols detected the ethanolic aqueous leaves (237.10±5.39 mg EAG/g 346.46±5.67 EAG) respectively. The same had a free radical scavenging by both DPPH ABTS+ methods. Ethanolic extract with IC50= 15.06±0.02 µg/mL 16.49±0.01µg/mL) (11.54±0.01 15.14±0.02 In study high-performance liquid chromatography substances recorded: gallic acid, rutin, ellagic quercetin apigenin acid stem bark. bark showed high potency inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, IC50 values = 13.94±0.02 µg/mL, 13.69±0.08 14.79±0.20 anti-Candida action against four strains microorganism. silico studies evidenced that ligands analyzed presented interaction SAP5 protein highlighting rutin quercetin. With these results, activities previously reported species T. are confirmed, polar extracts, mainly as source antioxidant, inhibitor substances.
